The creation of a new brand identity for Bright Press, as they transition away from their previous life as Whiteman Park Print Shop. True to their name (and the owner Ann), we aimed for a bright, contemporary and full-of-character identity that avoids print shop clichés and spotlights an almost 100-year old typeface in a fun way. This nicely compliments their mission— "to help spread the love of letterpress printing and to keep the craft, the stories and the printing presses alive."
I created the slogan "Printed Goods by Good Printers", to give the identity a fun but classic sounding mission statement. We also developed two sets of literally bright business cards, including one set which features a letterpress printed type case motif on the reverse (for the OG type nerds).
